10R80 10-speed automatic harsh and erratic shifting, clunk on the 4-5 and 6-7 changes, and torque converter lockup shudder. Addressed through repeated PCM/TCM recalibrations rather than hardware.

Engine / Fire Risk 2021–2023

Under-hood fires traced to the engine compartment on 3.5L EcoBoost Expedition and Navigator, prompting a Ford recall with an interim advice to park outdoors and a revised under-hood harness/battery routing remedy.
